Success StoriesSince its inception, FFE has assisted more than 10,000 students with a scholarship amount of more than $5 million. 40% of the students are girl students. More than 3,000 students assisted have completed their higher education and are gainfully employed.
Priti P Nalamwar, daughter of parents with education up to school level, completed her medical studies from the Amravati University, Maharashtra. Following the completion of her internship, Priti is preparing for her postgraduate entrance examinations at the All India Institute of Medical Studies, New Delhi.
Santosh Kumar Soni comes from a family with income below poverty level. After passing his diploma in electrical engineering with flying colors from the Madhya Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Santosh was directly admitted to the 2nd year BE degree course. With FFE's support, Santosh recently completed his degree studies.
Gururaj Rudagi and his five sisters lost their father at a young age. Supported by the Foundation and his mother who worked at a day care center, Gururaj completed his BE (Chemical Engineering) degree from Bangalore University in June 2000. Gururaj is currently employed with the Reliance Industries Corporation at Mumbai, India.
S Jayanthi completed her BE degree (Electronics and Communication Engineering) from Anna University. Coming from a lower middle-class family, Jayanthi is the first in her family to enter college and complete a degree.
